Bike/Run Challenge

Materials

  • Bike/ Running shoes
  • water bottle
  • stopwatch

Preparation

This activity is meant to be a fitness challenge for older kids.

  1. The kids should make a running/biking/roller-blading route (depending on their activity of choice) around their neighbourhood
  2. Time themselves to see how long it takes them to finish the route.
  3. Everyday/week when they complete the route, they can see how their time to complete the challenge changes.
  4. You can make this a challenge for however long you would like but remember to stay consistent when doing it.

Remember that when you are doing the challenge, to always drink water and apply sunscreen. Good luck and have fun!
