Tree pose is a fantastic way for your child to develop their balance skills, strengthening core muscles and improving their concentration skills.
How to practice this pose:
- While standing on one leg, bend the other knee and place the sole of the foot on your inner thigh (or on the inside of the calf if that’s easier).
- Your child can also raise their arms into the air and sway like a tree.
- This pose improves balance and strengthens their core.
- If your child is unsteady, allow them to stand against a wall for support.
