Bow Tie Pasta Wreath

What you need:

  • Mini bow tie noodles
  • White card stock
  • Foam or small paintbrush
  • Glitter (green, silver or gold)
  • Red ribbon (or festive bow)
  • Craft glue (either white or clear)

This craft is actually two crafts in one.

Craft one would be dying your bow tie pasta - which you can find the instructions here - https://www.backyardcamp.ca/activities/dying-pasta

Once you have died your bow tie pasta, your children can make this festive decorative craft.

How to assemble:

  • Step 1: Dye your pasta green by following directions on the backyardcamp.ca website link.
  • Step 2: Using craft glue and your paint or foam brush, brush a light coat of glue on the bow ties. Sprinkle them with glitter. Allow time to dry.
  • Step 3. Glue bow ties in a circle on white card stock. For ease of direction for younger children, an adult can use a mason jar lid or any lid to lightly trace a circle for the child to follow.
  • Step 4. Once bow ties are glued down and dried, glue down ribbon or bow.

Can be used as a festive table decoration or even putting their name on it, can be a nice bedroom door decoration.
