Apple Stamp Placemat

Apples are a staple fruit for fall but are available all year round.

Looking for a holiday craft for your table this weekend, how about apple print place mats? You could do this craft as a place mat or as a simple art project combining the holidays and a fun craft.

How to create:

• Step 1: Set up painting station with paper plates or paint palettes filled with paint, white craft paper or card stock depending on if the craft is a place mat or piece of art, or even card stock as a card for a family member.
• Step 2: Cut apple in half to create stamp
• Step 3: Dip cut apple (cut side down) in paint and stamp onto paper.

*note:monitor how much paint is applied, less is more to create a nice stamp pattern.
