Brownie Kebobs

What you need:

  • 1 box brownie mix ( or two bags of 2 bite brownies or a brownie recipe of your choice)
  • 2 16-oz packages of large strawberries
  • 1 bag marshmallows
  • 2 squares of Baker's melting chocolate
  • Wooden skewers, cut in half

Sometimes less is more and a simple dessert is exactly what you need for your family. These individual skewers are easy to pass around the table.

We are making this dessert even easier for you. If you don't have a favourite brownie recipe, or don't have time to even use a brownie mix, pick up some two bite brownies from your local store and you are good to go.

How to assemble:

  • Step 1. If you are baking your brownies, prepare by your directions. Bake in mini muffin tins to keep the shape for the kabobs. If you are using the two bite brownies, you are good to miss this step.
  • Step 2. Wash and draw strawberries. Cut the stem part off and prepare. If you prefer, you can can the stem and tip off, however you would like it presented.
  • Step 3. Assemble your kabobs by alternating strawberries, marshmallows and brownies on the skewers. Place completed on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
  • Step 4. Melt chocolate squares in a micorwave safe bowl in 25 second intervals (remember that chocolate will continue to melt after removing from heat. Put in a Ziploc bag and cut a small tip at the corner. Drizzle the chocolate over the skewers. Transfer to fridge to set and then plate and serve.
