Preparation

Looking for a fun way to have a family meal together? While we are spending so much time at home, finding new and exciting meal ideas could be a challenge. Here is an idea to spark your creativity for your family table. Could be used for a family game night, movie night or snow day.

What could be better than a bunch of kinds of french fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries, tater tots, wedges and more. To add some colour and fresh option, you can add sliced carrots, peppers, cucumber in between your potato options. You could also add some protein with chicken wings, chicken strips, boneless bites and more.....

How to assemble:

  • Step 1: Start with a large platter, any shape or size, but large enough for all the variety of options you have for the platter.
  • Step 2: Create sections for each item (french fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries, etc).
  • Step 3: Separate each item by layering sliced vegetables in between the potatoes.
  • Step 4: Put dips in small ramekins or small bowls and put them around the foods for easy dipping.

Set this platter down on your table and watch your family come running to enjoy!
