Apple Dipper Bar

Materials

For the caramel dip:

  • 20 caramels, unwrapped
  • 3 Tbsp. milk

For the chocolate dip:

  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3 Tbsp. milk

For the peanut butter dip:

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff

Preparation

When a whole caramel apple is too much, how about a snack of apple slices dipped in your favourite topping? Caramel, chocolate and honey serve as the glue that holds it all together. Sprinkles, crushed cookies and nuts make for excellent toppings to take your dipped apple to the next level.

For the caramel dip, microwave caramels with milk, stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted and smooth. Set aside.

For the chocolate dip, microwave chocolate chips with milk, stirring every 30 seconds until completely melted and smooth. Set aside.

For the peanut butter dip, whip peanut butter and cream cheese together until smooth. Stir in marshmallow fluff and set aside. Place toppings in small serving dishes. Place all dips into serving bowls and serve with apples and toppings.

*if chocolate or caramel dips start to thicken, pop them in the microwave for 15-20 seconds to thin them out again.
