Ice Pops

Materials

Blueberry Pops:

  • 2 cups frozen blueberries, thawed
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 pinch salt

Strawberry Pops:

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation

  1. Combine blueberry or strawberry ingredients (see materials list) in a blender and blend until smooth
  2. Pour into a popsicle mold or ice cube tray (cup option below)
  3. Place in freezer for at least 5 hours or overnight

You can also use small plastic cups.

  1. Pour the pop mix into each cup
  2. Cover with foil
  3. Insert popsicle stick through the centre of the foil into the cup
  4. Place in freezer for at least 5 hours or overnight
  5. To remove from the cup submerge the bottom 2/3 of the cup in hot water for about five seconds
  6. Pull on the stick and voila
